Day of the Dead Margarita

We met our daughter and son-in-law in Greece for 10 days. We were tested at the Athens airport and then allowed to travel. We had a marvelous time, visiting islands untouched by covid. Then came home to our mandatory 2 weeks of isolation.  Day Two of quarantine.

Ingredients

1 oz tequila
1 oz mezcal
1 oz fresh squeezed red grapefruit juice
.25 oz orange liqueur

Garnish: Torched Rosemary sprig

Method: 

Coat inside of glass with orange liqueur. Light rosemary on fire with culinary torch and put it on glass cutting board. Invert rocks glass over smoking rosemary for 1 minute.
Rim glass with mix of activated charcoal powder and sea salt.
Add remaining ingredients to cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 30 seconds. Pour into glass and add fresh ice. Add smoked rosemary and serve. Preferably with some Mexican snacks. Like chili lime peanuts.
