Ingredients

1 oz peanut butter washed rye*

1 oz Lot 40 Rye

.25 oz orgeat

.25 oz honey syrup

1 banana, sliced and caramelized (ie gently saute in butter and brown sugar)

Garnish-1 slice caramelized banana and one slice bacon on a skewer

Method

Muddle two slices of caramelized banana in shaker. Add rye, orgeat and syrup followed by ice. Shake for 30 seconds. Stick two slices of banana in the bottom of rocks glass.  Pour cocktail over top, add fresh ice, garnish and serve.

* For the peanut butter washed rye. Spread 1 cup of peanut butter on the bottom of an 8 by 8 ceramic casserole dish. Pour 2 cups of decent rye over top. Cover with plastic wrap and leave for 24-48 hours. Strain through coffee filter into bottle, refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
