Lavender Gin Sour

The kids took me to @confluence_distilling for my birthday last year. This year I'm experimenting with #diycocktails. This Lavender Gin Sour is made with Aquavit, lavender syrup, and Victoria's Empress 1908 gin and garnished with Vancouver Island lavender blossoms. Spring-like and pretty pretty tasty.

Quarantine Day 32

2 oz Empress 1908 gin
1 oz Confluence Distilling Aquavit
1/4 oz MoniLavender Syrup
juice of a half lemon
1 egg white
edible lavender flowers

Put all ingredients into shaker and shake until frothy. Don't add ice until this step is complete. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into chilled rocks glass and garnish with dried edible lavender.
